Friday Thoughts: The Seven…

Source via

A friend of mine  forwarded me these bunch of articles (as usual) and Gandhi’s  7 deadly sins to humanity definitely caught my attention. He considered these traits to be the most perilous to our souls:

Wealth without Work

Pleasure without Conscience

Science without Humanity

Knowledge without Character

Politics without Principle

Commerce without Morality

Worship without Sacrifice

Think about it.

Have a great weekend!

About Lillian

I am a proud student of the human experience which provides me with the perfect excuse for being a bibliophile (read: book hoarder) and the unofficial patron of Nairobi Inama bookshops. But in my past life, I was a recorder player. You can also find me on Medium (@lillianyamongo) where I discuss sustainable finance.

Now, this will definitely get me thinking seriously about what kind of person I want to be. Gandhi and the new Pope inspire me in this regard.
